Olivia

Lead Victim Advocate

Olivia is the Lead Victim Advocate at Estey & Bomberger. As a Victim Advocate, she believes in empowering all survivors to come forward and make a change. Olivia will always believe you, support you, and assist you with anything that you are struggling with. Her goal is to walk alongside you during the legal process, so that you never have to feel alone or lost. Olivia is truly inspired by every survivor that she works with because of the strength, courage, and resilience that they present during one of the most difficult times in their life.

Olivia has been in the field of trauma and victim services for more than a decade. Her experience started with the City Attorney’s Office of San Diego where she interned as an advocate and served individuals affected by domestic and interpersonal violence. Once Olivia graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in Law, she went on to work as a Victim Advocate with the United States Navy for four years and eventually became a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (case manager) after that.

Through Olivia’s work with Sailors, Marines and their families, Olivia has learned the ins and outs of military life. Her work with the Navy allowed her to go out into the military community and provide prevention training and teach others how to be an active bystander and intervene when the situation calls for it. Olivia has been trained in suicide intervention and prevention, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care. Olivia believes that every survivor that she works with should be treated with dignity and respect and that there is no such thing as “one size fits all.” Through her work with hundreds of clients, Olivia ensures that every client she works with will receive individualized care that is unique and special to them so that they can feel comfortable and safe.

Olivia is a nationally certified victim advocate and an active volunteer in her community. Interpersonal violence affects so many men and women and Olivia has made it her mission to support as many individuals as she can in numerous arenas. Olivia has volunteered with the local San Diego youth shelter and is an active board member for an organization that advocates for unhoused individuals living in the streets. Not only does sexual assault prevention speak near and dear to her heart as a survivor herself, but she believes that no person should ever have to feel as if they are silenced, less than, or taken for granted. As your Victim Advocate, Olivia will ensure that you receive the utmost care, support, and are provided with all resources that you are entitled to.

For self-care, Olivia loves to be outdoors, go to the beach, read, and spend time with her dog and husband,
