Lori Mulligan was born in Hawaii to a Navy family and raised in San Diego. Lori began working as a legal assistant in 1983 and brings more than 35 years of experience to the Estey & Bomberger team. As a grandmother of two young granddaughters Lori is especially interested in this newly developing area of law regarding proper background checks and the prevention of sexual assaults on women by ridesharing drivers.
Lori was mugged and physically assaulted at the age of 16 and this has instilled in her the passion to fight for the safety of every individual, especially those most vulnerable. In her words, “Ridesharing is tantamount to hitchhiking with a stranger.” Lori is dedicated to revealing this current truth, and helping to bring about change in the ridesharing industry which would include fingerprint background checks equivalent to licensed taxi drivers.
Lori primarily handles written discovery and document subpoenas, as well as researching regulations nationwide pertaining to ridesharing drivers in each state. Her many years of handling personal injury cases make it easy for her to relate to our clients with empathy and compassion.
In her spare time she enjoys golfing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with family.
